Role of Antioxidants in Reducing Oxidative Stress in Transition Cows

Abstract "Oxidative stress in dairy cows particularly during transition period is a contributing factor to increased susceptibility to a variety of disorders including retained placenta, udder edema, milk fever, mastitis and poor reproductive performance. The supplementation of anti-oxidant nutrients can be useful against oxidative stress and improves productivity of the cows subsequently."
