Abstract
"Dairying is an important
source of subsidiary income and employment
for small and marginal farmers,
agricultural labourers and rural women.
The present study is aimed at
understanding the household milk
producers' economy. Focus group
discussions (FGDs) with prominent farmers,
household milk producers and officials of
the village DC were undertaken. The
information obtained through FGDs as well
as informal meetings was summarised and
has been presented."
