Abstract

"Constantly growing urbanization accompanied by rapidly changing life style and food habits has brought in its wake the ever-increasing demand for low calorie beverages. Use of artificial sweeteners in whey beverages may serve as a total sugar replacement, reducing the carbohydrate content significantly and can provide benefit to the diabetic and obese people."
