Abstract "Livestock husbandry being an integral part of rural livelihood is often opted as an income generating activity (IGA) by the SHG members. However, in many instances, lack of infrastructure, training, inadequate forward and backward linkages to the livestock production process leads to unsustainability of IGA and in turn the groups."
