I have great honour to propose this Vote of Thanks. We feel greatly indebted to Hon’ble Minister for Food Processing Industries, Government of India for very kindly consenting to be the Chief Guest of today’s function. In fact he had a very busy schedule in Chennai and travelled during the entire forenoon today to reach Varanasi and join us for our function. We are grateful to you, for taking such a great trouble and for a thought-provoking Address.
My special thanks to Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Govt. of India for accepting our invitation to be the Guest of Honour for the Conference.
I consider it a privilege to thank Dr. (Miss) Amrita Patel, Chairman, NDDB for her kind presence and thought-provoking Keynote Address. She carries her passion to transform the dairy cooperatives of the country into a great corporate.
I take this opportunity to extend my deep gratitude to Dr. Panjab Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Banaras Hindu University. His able leadership would always motivate us and help us in achieving the objective of making this conference a great success! He has been a great source of inspiration to all those working for upliftment of agriculture and dairying.
I also take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Dr. N.R. Bhasin, President, IDA. We are grateful for his words of wisdom. My special thanks to Dr. Sushil Kumar, Hon’ble Director NDRI and Chairman, IDA (NZ), for giving the opportunity to organize the XXXVI Dairy Industry Conference at BHU, Varanasi. My thanks to Dr. Shiv Raj Singh, Director, Institute of Agricultural Sciences for his contribution to organize XXXVI Dairy Industry Conference at BHU on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee of the Institute. I would like to mention specifically Dr. Alok Jha, Secretary General of the XXXVI Dairy Conference, who has worked day & night to make this mega event a great success! I consider it my duty to thank all the office bearers, CEC members of IDA to organise DIC at BHU, Varanasi. I also thank Chairmen & Members of various local Committee and Sub-Committee constituted to organize the conference.
My special thanks are to the distinguished guests including diplomatic missions, who have kindly made it possible to attend this function.
I thank representative of print and electronic media. Their presence in such large number is highly appreciated and we are grateful to them for giving importance to the conference.
My thanks are also due to distinguished delegates, who have come from far and wide, from different parts of the country to attend the conference. I also thank delegates coming from foreign countries. I would like to thank our valuable sponsors.
Although the organizers have made every effort to make arrangements for your comfortable stay at Varanasi, yet if there are any shortcomings, I request you all to kindly bear with us!
