It is my privilege to perform the pleasant duty to present the Vote of Thanks at the end of XXXVI Dairy Industry Conference.

First of all I wish to express my gratitude to Dr. Alagh for making it convenient to attend this function and encourage all the dairymen. His advice to take prompt action by the dairymen to implement ‘Varanasi Declaration’ themselves rather than looking at others would greatly motivate us in bringing Indian dairy industry on strong footing as envisaged to achieve from this conference.

I take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Panjab Singh who not only provided all the facilities of BHU at our disposal but also guided us in successful organization of DIC at Varanasi. His Presidential Address focused on problems of dairying in India particularly of eastern region is of concern to all dairymen.

Dr. N.R. Bhasin has been a great source of inspiration and encouragement to all of us from very beginning. He was very deeply and actively involved in all activities including planning, execution and monitoring at every stage. We are indebted for his leadership in making this conference a great success!
The wholehearted support and guidance received from Dr. S.R. Singh needs special thanks. I am also pleased to extend my warm thanks to Dr. R.P. Singh, Dean, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU for providing necessary inspiration from time to time. Dr. Alok Jha and his team worked day and night with great diligence to organize the conference smoothly and successfully. I acknowledge the contribution of Dr. Jha and his team comprising of chairmen and members of various committees constituted to organize XXXVI Dairy Industry Conference. I also thank all the IDA staff including Ms. Dipti Ranjan and Mr. I.K. Narang for their contribution in successful organization of DIC.

Our special thanks to the Chairmen and Co-chairmen of various technical sessions and learned speakers for sharing their experiences and making recommendations for the growth and sustainability of Indian dairy industry. With out the active participation of distinguished delegates from all over India, the conference would have not been so lively and successful. My heartily thanks to all of them.

I convey my sincere thanks to all industries and financial institutions that contributed generously to meet the expenses of the conference.

So many individuals, groups and organizations are involved in organizing such a mega event of the size and dimensions of XXXVI Dairy Industry conference; it is not possible to name each. However I would like to thank each and everyone who directly or indirectly contributed for the success of this conference.
