- High Efficiency Homogenizing Valve Developed for Milk, Yoghurt, Ice Cream, etc.
M/s Niro Inc. has recently introduced NanoValve XS, a new high-efficiency homogenizing valve. The Valve microsizes milk and dairy products at a lower pressure, while achieving the same or better results on emulsion quality of the processed product.
The NanoValve XS has a special valve profile, which includes — large flow-rates, in the range of 5,000 to 12,000 gph; low operating pressure, below 1,500 psi; and extended shelf life.
The NanoValve allows, at the same homogenizing pressure, reduction of particles size of the product compared to traditional valves. The main direct consequence of working at lower pressures is the reduction of energy consumption, meaning lower production cost. With the NanoValve, one can save 30 per cent of the ordinary power consumption while at the same time improving the quality of the product. The improvement does not only involve the performance; the wear of parts and the operative noise are also noticeably reduced.
The Valve is supplied with a simple pneumatic control system that is also easy to use in remote control systems.
