Dairymen’s Preferences for Mode of Training

Abstract

"The present study was carried out with the objectives to know the duration, place and season needed for training programmes as expressed by the dairy farmers. The study was carried out in Ambajogai taluka of Beed district in Maharashtra state. A sample of 150 respondents was selected randomly from 15 villages, 10 from each selected village. It was observed that half of the respondents preferred one week duration of training at their own village as a place of training. About three fourths of the respondents preferred summer season for training programme which is a leisure period for them."
